Implant is an artificial tooth root placed in the jawbone to restore the function and aesthetics of missing teeth.
The screws used in implant application are structures with a certain thickness and width. If oral hygiene is taken into consideration, implant life is generally accepted as 30-40 years.
The advantage of implant treatment compared to other treatments is that it does not damage neighboring teeth. Fixed or removable prostheses made on these long-lasting artificial roots, which replace missing teeth, fulfill the patient’s chewing function and aesthetics.
The first stage of treatment is to place the implant in the jawbone. Screws made of titanium are placed in the jaw and we wait for the implant to fuse to the jawbone for approximately 1-3 months. In the second stage, we place dental material on the titanium screws. We design zirconium or porcelain teeth according to the patient’s request and the suitability of the oral structure.
