Premature extraction of deciduous teeth can cause permanent teeth to erupt early or late or in the wrong position. Milk teeth should be kept in the mouth as long as possible. Decayed deciduous teeth should be filled with restorative materials such as compositeresin. These fillings are both durable and subtle, as they are color matched to the tooth.
